We all know, a photo is worth a thousand words. On a
professional networking site such as LinkedIn, your profile photo affects the
opportunities that come your way, especially if you haven’t met your future
employer in person.
The job site TheLadders found that recruiters spend 19% of
their time on your profile photo – not so much time is spent on your work
experiences and skills.
You want to look like a confident and professional person
who anyone wants to have in their company? Lifestyle Club invites top
professional photographer Greg Holland on 11th and 12th
November, in Hult House, to shoot the perfect LinkedIn photo for you.

In addition, here are some tips for you during your special
photo shooting:
1.
Smile with your eyes!
A warm, gentle, and friendly
smile will make you look accessible, and encourage others to engage with you. Don’t
look too corny or too serious.
2. Dress professionally!
This means a dress shirt
or blouse, a shirt and tie, or even suit. Choose solid dark colors like blue or
black. For girls, avoid wearing a strapless dress or top - a strapless top will
make you appear naked. Dress cleanly and simply. Avoid wearing too much makeup,
or any over-the-top, distracting hairstyles and jewelry.
