DIY Pink Breast Cancer Ribbon

The most powerful symbol to increase awareness about breast cancer is the pink ribbon lapel pin. The pink ribbon is used to honor survivors, remember the victims and support the progress we make to beat breast cancer. It’s easy to make and a great way to inspire hope.

You will need:
-    Three inches of pink ribbon, a quarter-inch wide
-    One safety pin

Directions:
1.    Start off with cutting a three-inch length of ribbon, don’t forget to snip both ends at an angle.
2.    Lay the ribbon out horizontally, hold the ribbon’s midpoint, take the left end and fold so it points down and crosses the midpoint.
3.    Do the same with the right end.
4.    Where the ribbon crosses itself, use a small safety pin to hold the ribbon together and attach it to your shirt.
